page 276: In the notes for Chapter 1, there is a misattribution in the sourcing of historical data: “Historical data before 1950 are based on Kaneda and Haub’s article How Many People Have Ever Lived on Earth? Population Reference Bureau.” Though we use this source as background, the historical population data plotted were retrieved from Our World in Data.
